AdBlue No-Start Warning: What to Do Before Contacting Our Mobile Team

Your car or van is showing an AdBlue countdown, or it has already refused to start. Before contacting us, park safely, photograph the full warning and check your handbook. A low-fluid warning and an AdBlue system fault are different: a countdown does not automatically mean the tank simply needs filling. Send your registration, postcode and warning photo to AdBlue Fix by WhatsApp. Alternatively, call with those details or use our quote form. Tell us whether the engine still starts and whether you have already added AdBlue. We will check vehicle suitability before quoting, so you know whether our mobile software service is an option.
What does your AdBlue warning actually say?
Read the whole message rather than just noting the warning light. A refill instruction points to the fluid level; a system malfunction message indicates a fault that needs attention. Both can be associated with a starting restriction.
A no-start countdown warns of a restriction on restarting the engine. Do not treat the remaining distance as permission to postpone dealing with it. Follow your vehicle's handbook and arrange assistance rather than planning to use up the countdown.
- Photograph the complete message while safely parked.
- Note any remaining distance shown.
- Tell us about other warnings or changes in how the vehicle runs.
What to check before making an enquiry
If the message specifically asks for AdBlue, follow the refill instructions in your own handbook. Do not guess the quantity or assume a small top-up will be enough. Some vehicles specify a minimum refill amount before restarting is possible.
If you have already topped up, record roughly how much you added and when. A refill is not a guaranteed answer to a system fault, even when the dashboard mentions AdBlue. Tell us if the warning stayed on or changed afterwards.
Check where the vehicle is parked and whether there is safe access around it. If it is stranded somewhere unsafe, prioritise appropriate roadside assistance. Do not attempt to move a vehicle that cannot be driven safely just to prepare for a mobile visit.
How AdBlue Fix can help
AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for the same software service. We change the engine computer's software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown.
This is software work only. We do not replace, fit, repair or clean parts, and the service does not fix unrelated engine faults. Describe all the symptoms when you enquire so we can explain the scope clearly.
Not every car or van is suitable. We check from your registration before quoting. Where suitable, our mobile team can visit your home, workplace or another safe location across England, subject to availability.
What to expect from our mobile team
Our experienced technicians have helped thousands of customers. We provide a nationwide mobile service across England, with genuine Google reviews available to help you decide whether we are the right team for you.
Our No Fix, No Fee promise is straightforward: If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge.
The Lifetime Software Warranty applies to our software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Standard appointments and emergency callouts
Our standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. Give us the vehicle's actual postcode, especially if it is away from home, so we can check the location and available appointments.
24/7 emergency callouts are available, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch. Let us know at the start of your enquiry if the vehicle is already unable to start.
How to book in three steps
You do not need to identify the faulty component before getting in touch. Start with the information you can see and let us check whether our service suits your vehicle.
- 1. Send your registration, postcode and warning details by WhatsApp, including a clear photo. You can also call or use the quote form.
- 2. We check suitability and provide a quote, explaining what the software work covers.
- 3. Arrange a mobile appointment at a safe, accessible location, subject to availability.

Customer FAQs
Can I contact you if the countdown has already reached zero?
Yes. Tell us that the vehicle will not start and send the exact warning. We need to check suitability before confirming whether we can help.
Will topping up make the warning disappear immediately?
Not necessarily. Some vehicles take a short period to register a refill, and a system malfunction is different from low fluid. Follow your handbook's instructions.
Do I need to arrange transport to a workshop first?
Contact us before arranging transport solely for our service. We work at suitable customer locations, but need to confirm access, vehicle suitability and availability first.
Is a remap included with AdBlue work?
No. Economy Remap, Performance Remap, Stage 1 Remap and Stage 2 Remap are quoted separately. Stage 2 needs suitable supporting modifications. DPF Delete and EGR Delete are also separate, software-only services.
What if I cannot get a clear warning photo?
Write down the full message and any remaining distance, then call or submit the quote form with your registration and postcode. Explain whether the engine starts.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
