A warning on your dashboard can leave you wondering which service you actually need. If you are asking about DPF or EGR software work, AdBlue Fix offers DPF Delete and EGR Delete for suitable cars and vans. Both are software-only services, not parts removal, cleaning or repair. Not every vehicle is suitable, so we check your registration before quoting. DPF and EGR work is quoted separately and is never included free with AdBlue work. A warning light does not tell us the whole story
You may have a warning that keeps returning, a message you do not recognise, or a recommendation to ask about DPF or EGR software. Start by telling us what you can see and what has changed, rather than trying to choose a service from the warning alone.
Include the exact dashboard wording and whether the car or van starts and runs. If someone has already inspected it, share their findings too. These details help us understand your enquiry without asking you to explain the mechanics.
What DPF and EGR software work includes
Our DPF Delete and EGR Delete services concern the vehicle's engine computer software. We do not physically remove, replace, fit, repair or clean parts. The word ‘delete’ in our service names describes software work, not a mechanical job.
That distinction matters when deciding what to book. If you are looking for a filter clean, replacement valve or other parts work, that is not a service we provide. Software work should not be mistaken for repairing a damaged component.
We check suitability from your registration before quoting and explain the proposed scope. Ask about DPF and EGR separately if you want both considered; neither should be assumed to be included with another booking.
How these options differ from AdBlue work
Our main service is AdBlue Delete, also called AdBlue Removal. These are two names for the same software service. We change the engine computer's software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown. It does not fix unrelated engine faults.
DPF Delete and EGR Delete are additional services with separate quotes. Booking AdBlue work does not automatically include either one, and an AdBlue warning is not a reason to assume you need all three.
We also offer Economy Remap, Performance Remap, Stage 1 Remap and Stage 2 Remap for suitable vehicles, quoted separately. Stage 2 needs suitable supporting modifications. Tell us what you want to achieve so we can discuss the relevant option rather than add work you have not requested.
